Weekend Link Love: Rainy Weekend Edition

This weekend link love is brought to you by the upcoming rainy Memorial Day weekend.  Well at least in my area the rain should go away sometime tomorrow.  In other news, I’m back from my mini-vacation.  So this weekend it’s back to trying to write up more great blog posts for all you awesome readers out there.  Here’s what I’ve got for you this Saturday in the world of links.  It’s not as comprehensive as I would like, but I’ve been out of town for a while and actually having fun (something I don’t do very often).

First some blog news:

  • My post on growing your career was mentioned by Brick by Brick Investing.
  • My analysis of PPL got mentioned by Hello Suckers.

Thank you for the mention! Last week was a 5 day weekend in France with a pretty pathetic weather too… can’t wait to go back to sunny Guatemala :) I hope the vacation was amazing, enjoy the long weekend.

Thanks for them mention! My allergies are finally getting better (I can actually sleep at night!), and the weather’s nicer too.

  5. MFIJ,

Thanks for mentioning me! Much appreciated.

Enjoy the nice weather. Summer is on its way!!

    Best wishes.

Thanks for the mention. Good to hear you enjoyed your time away!

  8. On Saturday, it was 3 degrees, pooring rain and the whole family went running! My wife did a 5km and my two oldest kids (8 and 6) ran 1km. I was under the tent with my toddler cheering for them :-)

We were frozen, soaked, exhausted, but it was darn better than any TV show we would have watched all day during such boring weather!

it’s finally sunny outside today, yipee!

    Thx for the mention :-)

    1. MFIJ says:

Is that 3 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius? Neither one sounds very fun to me, but I can at least imagine running in 3 degrees Celsius.
